Apple Music, Shazam Teams up to Identify, Compensate Artists in DJ Mixes: Report

Apple Music reportedly started using Shazam audio recognition technology to identify and compensate artists in DJ mixes. With this feature, Apple Music‌ subscribers can also see the names of individual tracks within a streamed mix on the platform.
